Did I call it or did I call it? I knew I would have to watch
out for spoilers, and I did pick a couple, but I also missed some and ended up
8-8 last week.

Games to Watch
(Predicted winners in Bold)
Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012,
1:00pm – Baltimore Ravens @ Washington
Redskins
Terrell Suggs is a game-time decision, Ray Lewis is
practicing but not eligible to play this weekend, and the Redskins are in must-win
mode with a quarterback that can actually get them wins. The Ravens typically
own the Redskins, but a new era seems to have fallen over Washington.
Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012,
1:00pm – Dallas Cowboys @ Cincinnati
Bengals
The Cowboys beat the Browns in Dallas, barely, off of some
lucky plays and questionable officiating. The Bengals beat the Giants, and have
the advantage this weekend of playing at home. Andy Dalton is having a pretty
terrific season. I think it’s clear why I’m taking the Who Dey for this one.
Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012,
4:25pm – New Orleans Saints @ New York
Giants
I really wanted to pick Who Dat here. No, really I just
wanted to say Who Dat after I said Who Dey. But not that I have, I can get to what
is really going to happen. The Saints are out of the playoffs at this point,
and the Giants need a bounce back game because a loss puts them in a situation
where they will be in a tie with the Redskins and/or the Cowboys depending on
their games.
Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012,
8:20pm – Detroit Lions @ Green Bay
Packers
The Packers will win this one. No doubt. It might not even
be close. But the game will still be watchable because Ndamukong Suh is
playing, and it’s always fun to see what he’ll do, and deny doing, next.
Monday, Dec. 10, 2012,
8:30pm – Houston Texans @ New
England Patriots
For the second week in a row we have a really good Monday
game lined up, probably even the game of the week. The Texans are, in opinion,
the best team in the NFL, and that’s why I am picking them to win. But the
Patriots are no slouches and they are trying to show that even in what many,
including myself, would consider an ‘off year’ for them, they should still be
considered the best in the NFL.
