I picked up a few more wins in Week 14 than Week 13 but the
success isn’t quite what it had been. Week 15 promises a few possible upsets,
as well. I’ll have to guess well if I want any shot at my pre-season goal of
160 correct picks.

Games to Watch
(Predicted winners in Bold)
Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012,
1:00pm – Indianapolis Colts @ Houston
Texans
You will notice that for the first time, I left the Redskins
off this list. I’ll be watching, but it’s not really a must-watch against
Cleveland. I would have considered leaving this one off, but Houston’s second
big loss of the season makes this an interesting matchup because Indy can move
to just one game back with two games left, including a rematch with Houston,
with a win. If they win both of those, they are all but guaranteed the division
because their other game is against Kansas City.
Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012,
1:00pm – Denver Broncos @ Baltimore
Ravens
The Ravens have all but given up a first-round bye, but with
the Texans loss on Monday night, the Broncos have a chance at clinching a bye,
but they will need a big win on the East Coast to move closer to it.
Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012,
1:00pm – New York Giants @ Atlanta
Falcons
The Falcons are no longer guaranteed home field advantage
after their loss to the Panthers. The Giants, meanwhile, come off a huge win
for the second time in three weeks and will look to avoid losing in their
ensuing game for the second straight time.
Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012,
1:00pm – Green Bay Packers @ Chicago
Bears
Green Bay will look to sweep the Bears while Chicago is
looking to not fall from playoff contention. As if that weren’t enough reason
to watch, it is the oldest rivalry in the NFL and there have been plenty of
classic games between the two in the past few years.
Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012,
8:20pm – San Francisco 49ers @ New
England Patriots
San Francisco is knocking on the door for home-field
advantage in the playoffs, sitting just 1.5 games behind the Falcons. New
England, meanwhile, is also playing for a chance at home-field advantage after
beating the Texans and moving within a game of them on Monday night.
