Well, I did better than I had expected in a week I felt
would be unpredictable, though I don’t think anyone expected a tie. I had
forgotten that teams could tie in the NFL, but not to the point that Rams and
49ers players did; how embarrassing.

Games to Watch
(Predicted winners in Bold)
Thursday, Nov. 15,
2012, 8:20pm – Miami Dolphins @
Buffalo Bills
The Dolphins are slumping and the Bills are coming off a
game that could have, and maybe even should have, been a win over the Patriots.
Will the Dolphins break out? And the Bills, will they go back into their funk?
Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012,
1:00pm – Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington
Redskins
The Skins are coming off a bye and look to get back to what
made them somewhat successful early in the season. The Eagles hope to make the
Redskins season what theirs is already… over.
Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012,
4:25pm – San Diego Chargers @ Denver
Broncos
The Chargers hardly need a reminder of what sent their
season into a tailspin, but they’ll get one anyway this week when they visit
the Peyton Manning and the Broncos, who came back from a 24-0 halftime deficit
to win 35-24 a few weeks ago.
Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012,
4:25pm – Indianapolis Colts @ New
England Patriots
The Colts and Patriots have the same records. Wait, what?!? Now that can’t be right, but it
is. The game is in New England, where not only the Colts, but dome teams in
general, tend to struggle. But the Colts have pulled all sorts of surprises out
of their sleeves this year. And you can never count out a team playing for
something more than football.
Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012,
8:20pm – Baltimore Ravens @
Pittsburgh Steelers
This game has lost some of its luster for me with all the
injuries to the two teams this season. Ben Roethlisberger is out, as is Ray
Lewis. Why watch this game? Oh yeah, because it’ll be the only game on during this time slot. Oh well, here’s to us not having another ‘Bodybag Game.’
Monday, Nov. 19, 2012,
8:30pm – Chicago Bears @ San Francisco
49ers
The Bears may be without Jay Cutler and the 49ers may be
without Alex Smith. So far, Smith is on track to start but there is no word on
Cutler’s status. Hopefully both are good to go because I’m looking for a
legitimate game that I can hang my hat on next week when I either give the
Bears a playoff endorsement or continue to call them pretenders who will reveal
themselves in the postseason.
