Super Bowl XLVII: Puff’s Pick

It is that time again. Those of you who have read my blog in the past know that I have used Madden to make my Super Bowl prediction every year since Super Bowl XXXV, so this is my 13^th year. I am 9-3 to date and I thought it would be fun, before I get to today’s prediction, to look back on the past twelve years.

For those who are not familiar with my method of prediction, the significance of the ‘1^st Half Team’ is that I always play the first half with the team that I want to win and the second half with the opposing team – when it comes to the Super Bowl, I have to have a rooting interest, even if I don’t like one team more than the other, I just pick one to root for.

This year, I chose the San Francisco 49ers. Yes, I backtracked on what I said just after conference championships. Ravens fans may be more annoying after a loss, but I just don’t want to see them happy, so I’ll be rooting for the 49ers even though I really don’t care which team wins.
