Sean Kennedy
It’s that magical time of year again where the not-so-sucky
to semi-decent teams get to duke it out in wild card weekend!
Get ready for an exciting weekend and here we go.
Kansas City Chiefs at
Indianapolis Colts
The Chiefs should be well-rested coming into this week after
sitting their starters against the Chargers. The Colts are playing at home and
already own a 23-7 victory over the Chiefs a few weeks ago. But this is a
well-rested and determined Kansas City team. This should be one of the more
interesting games and I see Kansas City winning a close one.
Sean’s Pick: Chiefs
beat Colts, 24-21.
New Orleans Saints at
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are coming fresh off a close win over Dallas so
they are determined to make a deep playoff run with their quick strike offense
led by a red-hot Nick Foles.
The Saints cleaned up against Tampa Bay last week but have
struggled in the past few weeks. Drew Brees will need to put up a lot of points
to keep up with the Eagles’ offense and I can see a potential track meet
between these two teams.
Sean’s Pick: Eagles
beat Saints, 35-27.
San Diego Chargers at
Cincinnati Bengals
The Chargers barely were able to beat the second stringers
of the Chiefs. That does not bode well for them.
Cincy, however, is coming off a big win over the Ravens in
which they pulled away in the 4th quarter. There is some potential
for this to be a good game, but not with the Chargers’ playoff history and the
way Cincy has been playing.
Sean’s Pick: Bengals
beat Chargers, 30-17.
San Francisco 49ers at
Green Bay Packers
Rodgers looked rusty last week but he did enough to beat da
Bears. San Francisco is riding a 6-game winning streak that includes a win over
Seattle, so the momentum is in their favor.
Rodgers will put up some big numbers, but ultimately the
rust will cost him and the 49ers will take advantage of some costly turnovers.
Sean’s Pick: 49ers
beat Packers, 30-20.
